Information
Ball catches GN 4490 are used, for example, to hold flaps and doors closed that must be opened and closed frequently and easily.
The ball catches consist of a ball housing and a retaining element that snaps into the ball housing from the side or front.
Depending on the installation situation, the use of mounting plates GN 4490.1 may be required (see application examples). The slotted holes facilitate positioning. Depending on the slot width, mounting plates GN 4490.2 must be used when fastening the mounting blocks to aluminum profiles.
