The plunger pin types KA and MA have rounded tips of plastic or brass that reduce wear on the opposing surface and prevent marks or scratches. The conical plunger pin SB facilitates positioning in a corresponding receiving bore.
The spherical tip of plunger pin type SC passes over low edges or grooves, facilitating proper latching and preventing damage. Due to the small chamfer, plunger pin type SD is particularly suited for shallow detent bores, e.g. in sheet metal parts.
Indexing plungers with plunger pin types SE or SF can be fitted with application-specific attachments using the external or internal thread and used, for example, to actuate linkages or cable pulls.
